Supporting Crime Prevention in Brantford

McGuinty Government Helping Build Safer Communities

Ontario is supporting St. Leonard’s Community Services community-based initiative to reduce and prevent crime in Brant.

The Safer and Vital Communities Grant program is providing $20,000 for St. Leonard’s Community Services Youth and Animals Learning Together (YALT) program.

The grant encourages partnerships among community agencies and police services, and is open to local, not-for-profit organizations, First Nations Chiefs and Band Councils. In total, 39 projects are being supported with grants this year by the Ontario government.
