Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Invests in Ambulance Services Over $11,000 awarded to the Six Nations Ambulance Services
MPP Dave Levac and Ontario's Minister of Health Hon. George Smitherman announces a new MRI for Brantford General Hospital.

Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Invests in Ambulance Services
Over $11,000 awarded to the Six Nations Ambulance Services

Six Nations-MPP Dave Levac is thrilled to announce that the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has approved a budget increase for Six Nations Ambulance Services for the 2009/10 year. Six Nations Ambulance Services will receive an annualized base increase of up to $450 and a one-time increase of up to $11,130.

“Employees of the Six Nations Ambulance Service are an esteemed group of first responders,” Levac said. “This is truly deserving and this additional funding no dobut complements their tireless work in the community.”

This financial support is part the McGuinty government’s pledge to support Ontario’s First Nations and the government’s commitment to strengthening the existing levels of ambulance services.
